In terms of living conditions, the government provides social security for its citizens. Russia implements universal healthcare coverage for all Russian nationals; medical expenses are covered by the state if you're sick or injured. All residential buildings provide hot water 24/7; heating services run from late September until early May; gas supply isn't as widespread but residents cook using electricity; local calls are almost free at around 100-150 rubles per month (around four to six yuan).

The government encourages childbirths - more children mean more subsidies - so kids go from kindergarten to university without paying tuition fees or lunch costs. Even cleaning ladies can attend art colleges due to their high education level.

Russians love vacations just like anyone else - even ordinary cleaning ladies will put aside earning money to enjoy themselves at resorts like Hainan Island in China which has become increasingly popular among Russians seeking sun and beaches during winter months.
